Our Finishes

Limewash

A breathable, matte mineral finish with soft, cloud-like movement — the timeless European look, hand-applied for interiors and exterior masonry across Arizona.

What is limewash?

Limewash is a natural paint made from slaked lime and water, tinted with mineral pigments. Instead of sitting on top of a wall like a plastic film, it bonds into the surface and dries to a soft, chalky, matte finish with gentle variation and depth. The result is that unmistakable Old-World, sun-washed look — alive with subtle movement that flat paint can't fake.

Why homeowners love it

Where it works best

Interior feature and full-room walls, fireplaces, entryways, and exterior masonry, stucco, brick, and stone. Limewash is especially at home on the Mediterranean, Santa Fe, and modern-organic styles common across the Valley.

Interior & exterior

Indoors, limewash brings warmth and a hand-crafted feel to living rooms, bedrooms, and accent walls. Outdoors, it transforms brick, block, and stucco exteriors with a breathable finish built to handle the Arizona climate — perfect for refreshing a dated façade or giving a new build instant character.

Our process

Every limewash project begins with a free in-home estimate. We assess your surfaces, help you choose colors and a finish style, prep meticulously, and hand-apply each coat for an even, natural result — then walk through it with you at the end.
